Training on Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Teaching – Practical Approaches and Applications

The University of Prishtina, Faculty of Economics, is pleased to announce a four-day training program titled “Integrating Artificial Intelligence in Teaching: Practical Approaches and Applications”, which will take place from December 10 to 13, 2025.

The training is organized in three onsite groups, followed by a joint online session:

  • Group 1: December 10 (onsite)
  • Group 2: December 11 (onsite)
  • Group 3: December 12 (onsite)
  • All groups: December 13 (online presentations)

Onsite venue: “Salla e Profesorëve” (Professors’ Room), Faculty of Economics, University of Prishtina
Online session: The link will be shared directly with all registered participants.

This professional development program is designed for educators and researchers who wish to enhance their teaching practices through the effective use of artificial intelligence tools and methods.

Learning Outcomes

Upon completing the training, participants will be able to:

  • Understand core concepts of artificial intelligence, including how AI systems function, current global trends, and their implications for education and research.
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, Padlet, and Gamma as personal assistants to support instructional planning and classroom productivity.
  • Apply prompting techniques, including the CRAFT method, to develop teaching materials, design activities, and integrate large language models into daily teaching practice.
  • Evaluate ethical considerations in AI-supported education, verify student work for authenticity, and adopt responsible approaches to AI-enhanced learning and assessment.

Program Highlights (December 10–12)

The onsite sessions will include:

  • AI Trends and Developments – led by Prof. Dr. But Dedaj
  • Understanding How AI Works & AI Tools for Educators – delivered by Prof. Asst. Mjellma Carabregu Vokshi
  • Prompting Techniques (CRAFT Method) & Practical Examples – workshops with Prof. Asoc. Lura Rexhepi Mahmutaj
  • Integrating LLMs into Teaching, Assessing Authenticity, and Ethical Considerations – session with Prof. Asoc. Gentrit Berisha

Participants will also have opportunities for discussion, networking, and hands-on practice with AI tools.

Online Session (December 13)

The final day will feature online presentations of the work completed during the training:

  • Reflection and discussion
  • Group 2: 13:15 – 14:45
  • Reflection and discussion
  • Group 3: 15:30 – 17:00
  • Final reflections
