Creative Futures: Sustainability Through the Eyes of Postgraduates

As part of 4InnoPipe2, with workshops on sustainable development and entrepreneurship, we reach diverse groups: high school students, bachelor’s and master’s students, and here – participants of post-experience programs in executive education.

This event took place during the graduation of postgraduate programs in ESG, Green Finance, and the program for board members and candidates for supervisory boards at Kozminski University.

The 4InnoPipe2 team designed a creative workshop, with collage as the main method. The session was led by Monika Sonta, together with Kalina Błaszkiewicz.

At the graduation of postgraduate programs in ESG, Green Finance, and training for board members, the 4InnoPipe2 team invited participants to look beyond diplomas and reflect on the future.

In just one hour, executives and professionals stepped into a creative space. Sitting in small groups, they began with a simple question: “Where is ESG heading?” What started as a short discussion quickly turned into pages filled with images, words, and bold ideas.

The method was collage – cutting, arranging, layering. Between scissors and glue, conversations about megatrends unfolded: global shifts in technology, society, and environment, and what they might mean for companies and governance.

Pieces of paper gradually turned into visions of tomorrow. On the back of each collage, participants wrote down their own future scenario for ESG – a sentence or two capturing what they believe will shape the years to come.

Some groups imagined bold transformations driven by innovation, others warned of risks and regulatory shifts, but all shared a sense of urgency and responsibility.

The session ended with a few “futures” presented to the room – fragments of imagination that might one day become reality.
