On December 10, Kozminski University hosted an engaging Caseathon as part of the 4InnoPipe2 project, bringing together academic staff both onsite and online for a day of collaboration, learning, and creative case development.
The event opened with an Introduction to Writing Business Case Studies, inspired by best practices from Harvard Business School Publishing. The session was expertly facilitated by Zofia Przymus, who guided participants through the foundations of effective case writing and shared practical insights into designing impactful teaching materials.
A key highlight of the Caseathon was a live, collaborative case development session based on Winnica Dwórzno. Participants followed the process step by step, seeing how real-life business challenges can be transformed into compelling and effective learning tools for the classroom.
Throughout the event, and in follow-up work, participants developed and refined their own case study concepts. With hands-on guidance, peer feedback, and practical advice, the Caseathon strongly emphasized strengthening case-based teaching and fostering innovation in higher education pedagogy.
We thank all participants for their active engagement, openness to collaboration, and valuable contributions to making this Caseathon a success.
