This summer at the Warsaw Summer School, our 4InnoPipe2 team turned a mandala made from 4,000 tiny gems into a hands-on way to teach non-technical participants the logic behind programming and algorithmic thinking. Step by step, pattern by pattern — just like in code — we explored how rules, sequences, and creativity connect in the age of AI.
During the Warsaw Summer School, Monika and Junaid tested class scenarios where we explained what AI actually is from the ground up, following the principles of Human Enablement Technologies. Our goal was to move beyond the “gadget-driven” perception of AI while also recognizing that it’s hard to overcome abstract notions of AI in just four hours.
Over two days, we explored topics such as human–machine interactions, the rule-based approach, and different types of machine learning. We observed what participants responded to most (unsurprisingly — physical robots!), and we also discussed creativity in the age of AI, the Turing Test, and wove in elements of critical thinking.
One highlight was demonstrating the algorithmization of management through creating a mandala from 4,000 tiny gems — and it was a hit!
Starting in October, we’ll launch our entrepreneurship course — a series of two-hour sessions and conversations around the topic of entrepreneurship.
Before the end of this year, our calendar includes:
- A Creathon hosted by the University of Reutlingen
- Hybrid masterclasses on Agile Project Management at Kozminski University
Stay tuned for more updates from the 4InnoPipe2 project!
