University of Helsinki Leads International Consortium in the EU-Funded 4InnoPipe2 Project to Boost Innovation and Entrepreneurship

We are pleased to share the exciting news from the University of Helsinki, the lead coordinator of the international 4InnoPipe2 project!

With a generous €1.35 million EU funding from the EIT Higher Education Initiative, this two-year project aims to empower seven partner universities by strengthening their innovation and entrepreneurial capacities at every stage of their innovation pipelines.

Building on the success of the first 4InnoPipe project, 4InnoPipe2 focuses on fostering regenerative innovation ecosystems in key areas such as FoodTech, eco-innovation, and sustainable medicines — technologies that contribute to healthier people and a healthier environment.

At the University of Helsinki, the Faculty of Agriculture and Forestry will support start-up development within food system innovation ecosystems, while the Faculty of Pharmacy will cultivate an innovation culture among students and researchers through training and networking opportunities.

This project not only benefits the partnering faculties but will also enhance innovation and entrepreneurship across the entire university community — from students to academic spin-offs.
