Biomimicry Masterclass and Podcast Held at ZSEM as Part of the 4InnoPipe2 Project

Zagreb School of Economics and Management recently hosted a Biomimicry Masterclass and podcast recording as part of the 4InnoPipe2, organized in collaboration with ELEKS.

The event brought together students, innovators, and sustainability-focused participants to explore how nature-inspired thinking can support innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable problem-solving. Through interactive discussions and practical examples, participants were introduced to the core principles of biomimicry and encouraged to rethink conventional approaches to complex challenges.

A special highlight of the visit was the podcast recording featuring Jessica Berliner, Alistair Daynes, and Dr. Lyubomyr Matsekh. The conversation explored the transformative potential of biomimicry, the importance of systems thinking and creativity, and the role of nature-inspired innovation in addressing today’s global challenges.

The discussion also highlighted how interdisciplinary collaboration, sustainability, and innovation can shape more resilient and future-oriented solutions across industries and education.

The masterclass and podcast were organized within the framework of the 4InnoPipe2 initiative, which continues to strengthen innovation ecosystems and collaboration between higher education institutions, industry, and international partners.
