Workshop Highlights: Designing Entrepreneurial Education for a Sustainable, Tech-Driven Future

As part of our mission at 4InnoPipe2 to redefine entrepreneurial education for the modern era, our team recently hosted two hands-on workshops at the international conference “Innovation for a Sustainable Future: Integrating Technology, Education, and Cross-Sector Collaboration for a Competitive Economy and Equitable Society”, held in Wrocław, Poland.

Led by Dr. Monika Sońta, Program Director for Management and Artificial Intelligence at Kozminski University, the sessions brought together practitioners, educators, and innovation enthusiasts to explore new educational strategies aligned with green and digital transitions.

Workshop 1: Using the Future Thinking Canvas & Megatrends to Shape Sustainable Strategies

This session introduced participants to Future(s) Thinking as a practical tool to support the shift toward a sustainable and technologically advanced future. Using the Future Thinking Canvas and EU Megatrend cards, participants explored emerging trends and their impact on entrepreneurship, innovation, and education.

Through interactive exercises, they:

  • Mapped out potential future scenarios
  • Identified risks and opportunities linked to the green and digital transitions
  • Developed strategic pathways for navigating complex change

The workshop concluded with the creation of action plans and resource maps, equipping participants with practical tools to drive sustainable innovation in their own organizations and ecosystems.

Workshop 2: A Hands-On Approach to Stakeholder Mapping and Strategic Innovation

In this creative and engaging session, participants used Playmobil.pro to construct physical, 3D models of their innovation ecosystems. This unique method encouraged playful yet deep exploration of:

  • Key stakeholders, their roles, and relationships
  • Power dynamics and influence structures
  • Areas for enhanced collaboration and system improvement

This approach helped participants visualize complexity, uncover hidden connections, and build a more strategic and inclusive understanding of how to influence innovation within their environment.

Looking Ahead

These workshops are part of our broader effort to develop an innovative entrepreneurship course tailored for learners with no prior background in business — particularly engineers, legal professionals, and others navigating the demands of an ever-evolving innovation landscape.

The 4InnoPipe2 learning journey includes:

  • A fully online course covering entrepreneurship fundamentals
  • Hybrid hackathons and innovation marathons
  • Interactive workshops built on modern didactic tools and practitioner insights
